Reply to derkasan , Technically INFAMOUS 2 was a better game ,but for me INFAMOUS has more mystery to it and i really enjoyed going underground in the sewer sections with deadly water from the original INFAMOUS . But i really enjoyed playing both INFAMOUS 1 and 2.
BIOSHOCK, ORANGE BOX, SINGULARITY, CRYSIS 3, KILLZONE 2 and 3 , COD MW2, COD BOPS 1, RAGE (Multiplayer) DEAD SPACE 1 and 2, WOLFENSTEIN NEW ORDER ,INFAMOUS 1 and 2 > These are some of my personal favorite PS3 games . Wow , from the games listed in the article and comments section is a reminder of how great the PS3 era is .
Also , can wait for GIANT BOMB to go at it with each other during the podcast for games of the year awards . Really fun podcasts to listen too , because they have to explain and defend their favorite games of 2016.
Then, video games that come out in December 2016 should qualify for Geoff Keighly's award show in 2017 .
And i have thank Geoff Keighly for having a award show for the video game industry and its player base .
I think here in AMERICA that there should be awards for the video game industry at the 'GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS'
My prediction UNCHARTED 4 will win GOTY at Keighly's show . And DOOM 2016 will win GOTY at the BAFTA ...
So basically this show is a promo to help sell more games for holiday season ? My guess is, that is why the show airs December 1st and not some date in January 2017.
Also i believe there should be a category for best 'single player campaign'.
DOOM 2016 gets my vote for GOTY . I am shocked SUPER BUNNY HOP did not get nominated for TRENDING GAMER .
I also think , JEFF GERTSMANN (GAMESPOT 1996-2008 ,GIANT BOMB 2009-current ) should be in the Video Game Hall of Fame for his honest coverage of video games .
There are 2 video games , as far as sales go ,people should not compare too, COD and GTA .
Reply to Edmix , you are right , a game with a single player campaign never gets to old to purchase . I still have not played FAR CRY 4 , ALIEN ISOLATION and a bunch of other video games for 8th gen consoles . So basically what i am saying is ,TITANFALL 2 is competing with every game that has come out in the last 3 years and beyond.
I would say DOOM is best the FPS this year , due too SNAP MAPS . What FPS this year has community made levels, mini campaigns, mutiplayer maps on consoles that everybody can play besides DOOM 2016.
What if i use my original PS4 and hook up to a standard definition tv and play against someone using a PS4 Pro on hi definition tv , will i have a advantage ?
Also , i heard it is harder to beat PUNCH OUT using NES mini on Hi Definition TV due to lag . Is this true ?
