DOOM had it's 29th anniversary last Saturday. Looking forward to playing SIGIL 2 next year.
So I have friends in their 50s like me . And they all play sports games but they also will buy GOW and Last of Us Which is why they buy Playstation consoles .

I wish they would do the awards show when the year ends . But I think the publishers want to promote games for the holidays season.
For me personally with my two arthritic wrist, I prefer the the 2 thumbsticks down low because it is less pain for my wrists and thumbs.
I absolutely had a great time playing SINGULARITY. I would love a sequel!!!
I will say I am really enjoying PS Premium. I put almost a hundred hours into playing ALIENATION , a awesome twin stick shooter! I discovered on PS Premium and probably put over another 100 hours playing other games I discovered ion PS Premium. Definitely worth the 30 dollars for the 6 month upgrade. My only complaint is I wish I had more time to play all the video games I bought or got thru a streaming service.
I will say , I am having more fun playing PRODEUS campaign more than any Call of Duty campaign that came out in the last 6 years .
Highly recommend PRODEUS if you like old school QUAKE and DOOM. Level design is awesome with a lot of secrets littered throughout levels . My only complaint is the checkpoint system. Enemies do no reset ,. Other than that I am having loads of fun !!
