Is it just me? I think these "console war" articles are getting very boring .
according to a MICROSOFT spokesperson he said "1 of the reasons that PS4 is outselling the XBOX 1 is because of 360 users are so happy with their 360 and enjoy updates for the 360, and are delaying their purchase of XBOX1 , and PS3 users were not happy with PS3 so they quickly bought a PS4 !" That reason makes no sense to me! I think it is good that MICROSOFT is offering a KINECT less XBOX1 -
As a big fan of FPS campaigns i prefer a challenge without cheat codes! By the way most FPS campaigns from 7th gen have cheat codes already, hence hiding behind a rock for a few seconds and your health comes back!

also John Carmark said the tech is not there yet for KINECT ! Controllers mouse and keyboard respond so much better for games ! To advance the tech for the KINECT could take tens of millions of dollars and that is not including the development cost for making the game! So it is not the game developers fault! Seems like the author thinks video game studios have BILLIONS of dollars to spend!

well, JOHN CARMACK wanted to work on RAGE 2 immediately after RAGE came out, to make things better for the game RAGE! But BETHESDA/ ZENIMAX wanted ID to work on DOOM 4! I am guessing that is where the problems started between ID and BETHESDA/ZENIMAX . Would love to see MACHINE GAMES work on the new DOOM MULTIPLAYER , due to the fact that some of the lead developers from STARBREEZE are part of MACHINE GAMES now. STARBREEZE made a great CO-OP multiplayer for the game SYNDICATE. I think SYNDICAT...

reply to jdoki 2 bubble, I agree with your 2 bubble , a 99dollar PS3 would really spike PS3 sales! I was thinking of a 150dollar 250GB PS3 after E3 and then a 99dollar 250GB PS3 for fall 2014 . I would love to see 99dollar PS3 soon but i doubt it will happen due to the fact that her are some great triple titles coming out still on PS3, like WOLF NO , DESTINY , heck even GRAND THEFT AUTO is still selling great on PS3 ! So heres hoping SONY makes a good PS3 price drop soon ! CHEERS!
reply to Jonny5... need to check out "BOOGIE2298" latest 2 YOUTUBE videos. He loves the KINECT for XBOX1! As a PS3 owner i think the moves by MICROSOFT yesterday were great! Now they can focus more on making games!
yeah i agree , I did not expect PS3 sales to drop off so quick . There is quite a few PS3 games i have not played yet, and i have had my PS3 since 2009! So i think a price drop would help PS3 sales.
For me it is a money thing , i do not have much money , so i go with the consoles !

Classic!!! also to "CanadianTurtle" The reason why you see so many SONY people at N4G is because SONY has been great to us since 2009 and was great to us from 1995 till 2006 hence more consumers are into the PLAYSTION BRAND then the XBOX BRAND over all! It has nothing to with being a "fanboy"!!
to jackV yeah i was doing a edit on a comment early this afternoon and it would not update , then hit refresh and their site was down . I think it just came back up about an hour ago . Me and hundreds of members from N4G , i think we were trying to post comments, all at the same time, caused the site to crash today , due to the MICROSOFT announcement!
Unless you can find people who work for free , then it is about sales!
