after playing it the first few hours, I see this is an OK game, I really dont have the need go out the microtransactions, unless I wanna get something without grinding I suppose. This diablo is OK for what it is...a casual mobile game.
The concept alone of playing as an animal and using it's unique skills is very rare in gaming nowadays...aside from the art-style and somewhat puzzel solving are enough features to aim up high score since this game clearly starys away from the comfort zone most games.
I know review scores is something subjective depending on reviewer but I personally think this games deserves more than an 8 just saying.
Im gonna enjoy tis on my Steam.

Well deserved, this game has been a blast playing with friends and also alone, lots of replay value if you want to hit high scores and lots of combos.

It's just cosmetics for god's sake! You do not need cosmetics ir order to play and win the game, also you are not forced to PAY if you do not want to.
I got no complains. I mean I supported them with the $9.99 pack and gave me 2 skins and 1000 currency so I unlocked the season pass which pretty much got me another skin and more stuff to unlock with the grinding. I mean I say it was pretty good for 10 bucks.
Will I keep supporting them a.k.a give them more money? NO, unless of course there is something that really really peeks my interest. Other than that I say the game has been better than before and that's pretty much it.
I have never played any of those Viva piñata games, so Im curious, are they any good? I mean the fact that Microsoft is planning to revive them from the Xbox360 means something.

It has improved quite a bit but still has a long way to go to be considered "amazing" still I'm ok with them going this direction now if ONLY they had dedicated servers for some of their games.
