I didn't even realise that there was a new format until I read this article, I'm also not much of a fan but it's good that it's all on one page.
On topic, I can't imagine myself ever crying at a game. I find getting all watery eyed over something in gaming or in movies weird. In my life there has only been one thing on tv that has made my eyes water up and that was Futurama, never even come close in gaming.
I don't know where you're from but my experience (of 3 different stores)of Game employees is that they are really nice and helpful.
I'm really feeling the Arkham City vibe. This actually looks like it could be good.
The first rule of J-pop is: You do not kid about J-pop.
I'm really not sure whether or not I agree with him. His point is good that it quickly becomes as he says "Eh, whatever" but I know that when I play next gen consoles I'm going to have the oh my god feeling.
That's a helluva lot. Hopefully it helps to make one hell of a game.
If it was damage control then that would be a very stupid move and I think he would know not to do that.
The thing about the XIII-3 trademark is to stop other people or companies using the name. If a lot people set up XIII-3 websites to scam fans of the series then that wouldn't reflect well on Square Enix, by taking out the trademark they can prevent that.
I wouldn't say Hope was badass but I think that his character was strongly designed considering that I didn't want him in the game after how annoying he was in XIII.
I thought that the ending was great. The only reason that people hated on it was because of the "to be continued" which caused an uproar from people assuming that there was going to be a XIII-3.
It's an awakening, it's supposed to be overpowered plus it's only for a short time. It's not as powerful as they could have made it.
There's about 10 new ones on top of the ones that were in the first 2. I agree that storm 1 definitely had no depth but the same can't be said about 2.
Do the people disagreeing with me actually believe that a digital score which has no real use matters?
Same, not like a gamerscore matters anyway.
I doubt it will be as their first attempt wasn't, but I remain ever hopeful.
This might be news to you but Square as a company was defunct years ago and with it Squaresoft.
If this is true then I won't be buying the next gen xbox, but it sounds like it isn't
"Those who bought the game were dissapointed"
Not true. Most people who bought the game liked it. Most people who didn't like it didn't play it or went into it not wanting to like it.
He never said they don't count, although I will state without doubt in what I say that Kinect games don't count.
It would be good to have some actual new exclusive (retail) games. Everything I have bought for my Xbox since September has been multi-platform, which I'm happy enough with but I want something new.
So what are you into? Unless it's guys (or animals, who am I to judge) then that is a weird thing to say.
You can't always trust the smaller sites. I think for the most part they are good with reviews but often you will get smaller sites giving bad reviews just to draw hits (although even the big sites do that sometimes).
