Wow. This guy completely took that answer out of context. There are guys on the Gtplanet forums who were there too, and from their explanation, no this is not GT7. Kaz essentially said its the basis of gt7. This Gran Turismo is focused on esports. This is not a full gran turismo.

Isn't it funny how the things GT come up short on, just so happen to be the things that supposedly make or break the game? GT days are over, because of graphical glitches on an early build, and the vacuum cleaner sounds GT has always had - which never stopped people from buying and enjoying it btw-. Boy, you people sure love sensationalism and over exaggerating. We get it, you're not happy.

If the trees are any indication, some problems shown in the trailer have been fixed. The gameplay videos at the event showed better trees.
1.The game is 6 months away. 2.The trailer used an old build. 3. This is an early beta. 4. The commentators said PD insisted the game was only 50% done.
In conclusion, what you are seeing isn't the final product.

Where's the screen tearing and what exactly looks rough on nurb? The anti aliasing on the shadows and body panels during the livery editor part where the only graphical faults I noticed.
The lighting looks subperb. I wasn't expecting DC quality graphics with 60fps, but i'm happy with polished gt6 graphics honestly.

If their Sims series is any indication of them taking tough questions head on, it's safe to assume they will not change anything. This is nothing new, prior to Sims 4 release and after sims cities, they received, took on, and replied to a lot of criticism, yet here we are, Sims 4 a joke of a game, always online NFS, and multiplayer only battlefront.. The criticism towards EA go in one ear and out the other, because they will continue to move units.
