As much as I would like this to be true, I know is total bullshit and ain't happening. kaz has confirmed to bloomberg that, there are currently no plans for yet another price drop.
Also, it makes no sense for them to drop the price now. It would make mores sense for them to drop the price around the time where the big hitters( MGS, GTAIV, KZ2, and more) for the PS3 will be arriving.
The inclusion of the BD drive is one of the best decisions Sony has made this Generation with the PS3. Although, it came with it share of dilemmas as the whole media turned against them.
Now, they will start reaping in the profits. With their game division gaining it's mojo back with the PS3 slowly, is only a matter of time before they officially bounce back. ( Yeah I know, they never left, but you gotta admit they been through a lot though)
I for one know this game is not coming out anytime soon. They have army of Two coming out for consoles. They have something in development for consoles are well via Crytek. And then there is this, they are still trying to decide on how the gameplay will be.
Also on the latest 1UP yours podcast, they pretty much confirmed that, this game might not see the light of day in 08.

Wasn't this a rumor ? or has the specs been confirmed now ? If so, did UBISOFT really think thoroughly about this before implementing this ? I mean, most people have already played the game on their PS3 or 360. Most PC gamers either have a PC and 360 as well and most likely played the game on it.
And really, how is having out of this world specs going to help this game get picked up by the masses who only have Intel's Integrated graphic cards in their computer and have absolu...

The game has been confirmed for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. Great news for anyone anticipating this game. I seriously can't wait.

My fears is that, this application might become useless once Home launches. It has happened before with PSP and am sure it will follow the same suit with PS3.
From a business point of view, I dont see Sony securing the rights to this game and making it exclusive because they have their own IP(Getaway) which they are trying to make it compete with GTA.
Chances of this going exclusive are very slim, but I could see the PS3 been the lead platform however. Hopefully GDC will clear up somethings for us.
I dont think it fell out. People need to get of the mentality of a game been a failure if it does not make it to the NPD. Take a game like Uncharted, it is well on its way to sell millions world wide. The fact that it does not appear on the NPD list does not mean it is a complete failure.
I Know what 1UP is really trying to imply is that, the game should come on the Xbox 360 so sales can be increased. But I don't see that happening with Gears 2 on the horizon for the 360.
Dude, by now you should know UT3 will not be coming out for Xbox 360. Regardless of what anyone tell you, GeOW is coming out this year.

I was looking forward to hearing about some of the games they currently have in development for the PC but nothing was said about that except for the fact that, Sony network best suits them.
With this interview, I can most certainly confirm that, there wont be any 360 version of UT3. The next announcement that we hear will be for EU launch. And by this, One can most certainly hope that, Gears 2 will be unveiled ad GDC.

Yeah you are right, in terms of tech specs and sheer awesomeness on consoles, Killzone is the next greatest thing since Gears on X360.
Uncharted raised the bar alright but Killzone 2 is pushing even further.
If Killzone, Resistance 2 and the rumored Crysis drop this year, this will be massive.
