There are several people reacting to this game as woke, having an agenda and ironically referring to it as bold and brave for including a black female character.
Hell, we had this site almost implode with the reveal of a minor black character for God of War only because she was black, and some people referred to Deathloop as a woke game.

You don’t need to go very far (this very site) to see sarcastic comments on how this game is “brave and bold” and how it’s “woke” for no particular reason.
Female protagonists exists since the dawn of time, so they surely can’t be dissing that, right? She is also not the first hyped teenager to be a main character in a game, so that is a no-no too. I wonder why people think this game, that has a somewhat bland and stereotypical teenager as a lead, is “woke”, has an “agenda”...

Never seen so much magic habilities with that many particles and power behind them being combo’d and chained together as cool looking as in this game.
Hmmm. In Japan crunch is not forced on you, but it’s expected, if you don’t do it, you’ll be frowned upon and sometimes even bullied out of your job (if not simply fired first for whatever small reason).
Quarry was pretty good, but the lack of gameplay was a big issue, IMO. Until Dawn had a better balance.
Looks like a step up from their last games, and while I appreciate their genuine passion, this series tends to bite much more than it can chew and does not seem to improve at all with every new title. Every new entry is extremely subpar with no real evolution.

@Crimson Toned down? IMO they dialed her up way too much. Harley is supposed to be crazy, though not as crazy as the Joker. That is even one of the reasons she eventually ditches him.
To have her look that insane is very out of character. They should tone her down.

If it’s that easy to come up with solid IPs and go head to head with major established ones with just a bit of dedication, I wonder why Microsoft payed billions for them while they could’ve payed a lot less forming new and better IPs, by your logic.
