Could I EVER play Singstar with a controller? I could play the first Echochrome with a controller but if I can't play Echochrome 2 with a controller then it just goes to show how much casual motion gaming is starting to take over. It's bad enough when a series like Valkyria Chronicles switches platforms but eventually more and more sequels (especially in the near future) will end up having to require motion controls to play them.
@Eamon
Then why is it called Metal Gear Ac!d rather than Metal Gear Solid Ac!d?
No, Crysis 1 was known for having amazing graphics...And that's pretty much ALL it was known for. Crysis 2 is known for being a consolized version of the series that pales in comparison to Killzone 2 & 3.
XBL = Paying $50...Oops, the price hiked it. I mean $60 a year to enjoy tons of ads on what is supposed to be a game console. You're basically paying to see those ads for Mountain Dew & McDonalds. You may think this is not true but it is. I remember when you were paid to do beta tests and now you have people willing to test it for free or even pay to test it (including it in a game you wouldn't normally buy just for a beta; Bulletstorm for example comes with Gears 3 beta).
...
Can I play Echochrome 2 with a Dualshock3? If the answer is no then you should see why motion gaming sucks ass. I wonder how many other sequels to games in the future will REQUIRE motion control.
Super Meat Boy sucks as does the people who made it (seriously, they are assholes even IRL). If you want to play a real challenging platformer then play N+ (the game that Super Meat Boy wishes it could be).
As a big fan of the MGS series, I will be skipping Rising because it's not a real MGS game. The last real game was MGS: Peace Walker and I hope Kojima plans to make another MGS game (like Peace Walker 2 for PS3).
Will there ever be another Parappa the Rapper game?
I know...I GOTTA BELIEVE!
People are feeling bad for him but I'm just wondering how this is even news. It would be no different than booting a kid out of your guild. A lot of guilds raid by voice chatting instead of using text all of the time so I can understand why he'd get booted out.
I've tried killing him & it's a pain in the ass as he just doesn't want to die. Best I could do is trap him somewhere for eternity and break every bone in his body. I could even get him to trap himself for me.
Looks like Kevin Butler has an arch nemesis, and I'm not talking about the golden arches. This is a different kind of clown.
Seems a little early for these reassurance articles. At least wait until the PSP2 is announced before you downplay it, that way it will be even funnier as we see how successful it becomes.
Rico is no longer useless and now revives you. Nice.
It depends on how long it takes 360 owners to beta test it.
I hope they put in an option so we can mute only Cole's voice. I hate the new voice actor.
The 360 is obviously maxed out. Not one game on that console matches the first Uncharted. Then you have other PS3 exclusives like Uncharted 2 & Killzone 2 that look even better than that. So the 360 is either maxed out or Sony has some exclusive contract with devs that says only the PS3 can have the best looking games.
I want a happy ending.
It's not like this game will matter when it comes to graphics comparisons anyways. Nobody should care about any of those lame comparisons for a game like this as most people will buy it because of nostalgia, not because it has an extra pixel on 1 console. People will just be glad that the game is finally released.
They should remove the Lightning outfit. No need for garbage like that seeing as how it's from one of the worst characters in the FF universe. Besides, FF13 was terrible & I'd rather not be reminded of that hallway simulator.
They're probably waiting for the PS3 version.
