It's not terrible at all...it's just the same exact game that came out in 2007 with the same exact graphics and physics, wrapped up in a different box with a few different features.
And this is TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE...if this were 2007....
MW3 is nothing more than an expansion pack to MW2. There is no getting around that...the difference being it is one expensive expansion pack wrapped up in gift wrapping paper as a full retail game that is new and fresh.

Both those games look so much alike and have almost all the same features it's scary... actually ingenious from Activision to sucker people into paying $60+ for what essentially is an expansion pack.

I assume you mean CONSOLE games for graphics...
There are PLENTY f low resolution textures in the game for example. It's not perfect in graphics.

This is the first intial stages of full cross platform parity for MS products when Win8 hits.
All formats will have the same look and feel and functionality.
From Xbox360, to Window phones, to Window Tablets to Window enabled PC's.
All will eventually run the same type GUI and OS.
So what does that say of PS3 users then when COD also sells more than most other PS3 exclusives regardless of the genre?
And no mention of the Wii...which kicked the ass of the PS3 and Xbox360 in sales this generation...

Two different style playing games entirely.
COD games allow you t o"do it alone" and go Rambo style.
You CANNOT do this in BF3 or any BF game.
If you are use to playing like this you will HATE BF3 at first with a passion.
If you stick it out you will find that BF3 is more satisfying.
The game looks the exact same from 2007.
They wanted to keep 60 FPS FOR CONSOLES and in doing so had to keep the dated visuals and physics.
Just because they nailed the mechanics for the game does not mean they need to bleed it dry for years and let it become stagnant like they did with Tony Hawk and other Activision games.
This was fine for 2007...however this is 2011...
The franchise has not moved...because they want 60fps...for consoles...which the PC has ...
No console is future proof. Its a closed architecture with no ability to expand. the hardware for both consoles were obsolete as soon as it launched and none of there consoles can render any of the new modern advanced graphical effects. That is not future proof
Graphic category must be only for consoles as BF3, Witcher 2, Crysis2, on the PC looks better than any console game out. They need to separate the graphic category.

PS2 had MANY games that were shovelware.
The PS2 did have some of the best games bat none...but it also had many more shovelware titles than any other system out at that time...
That's the price for being the most popular console.

Has some great games...but most of the games out are shovelware. More so than the other systems.
More does not equate to better.
So by that reasoning then last generation games like God of War, GT4, Final Fantasy etc and other PS2 games that scored perfect scores should never have won GOTY or even be contenders OR get perfect scores because the PS2 was the weakest system out that generation with the weakest graphics...
If you are basing perfect scores on graphics mostly then almost EVERY single game released on the PC this generation should be scoring 10/10...100/100...5/5 as PC graphics are far superi...
