RE1 will always live forever in my mind as a simple yet fantastic grade b story telling scare machine with dobermans crashing thru windows and the hunter doing unreal decaps.... since then the series has slowly gone downhill and become a pure action story with some eyecandy graphics sprinkled in here and there .Lets review the facts at this point... no'one jumps at any scary scenes since you have oodles of guns,ammo and mellee combat skills and quick time dodge buttons to press...
