These are usually done pretty cheap and quick, so maybe its Activision trying to make a little more money back on the failed series. Or maybe they want to see if there is interest in Prototype because they are considering continuing the IP...Its strange for sure, these games dont jump out as please remaster ...
You are aware that these generally get subcontracted out to third parties right? The developer in 99% of cases doesn't do the remastering, i.e. Iron Galaxy did the Borderlands ports for the Handsome collection...

You mean IF the publisher signs off on it, and any games that are getting remasters will definitely not get BC updates. No publisher in their right mind would allow that and lose sales on the remaster.

The game has some weird difficulty curve for sure...The beginning is harder than anything after that first section, the game is amazing but its kinda strange that they did that I dont remember Demon's Soul or Dark Souls being that way

Uh first off Live and Reloaded sucked, the MP was lame and Bad Fur Day was censored on Xbox...The N64 version is the only version of Bad Fur Day that is uncensored and supposedly there are licensing issues that prevented them from using the real actual uncensored N64 version

Well if people dont want to 100% the game then why should the be entitled to the 100% completion special ending...Rocksteady was pretty clear before the game launched that you had to complete the game 100% to get the complete ending...
