That's not a bad deal. I guess everyone is out of money.

"Images represent a game still in development."

Do that have to put that in every video they make?

We would've had free energy, the internet and countless other inventions a century ago with Tesla Tech...but guess what happened? Greed.

For a side project, this game really riled up some of you guys. Since this game has TRULY started development, it's going to be a while to see a good representation of what the game is going to be.

I think it will be worth the effort in collaboration. Both companies will learn something when the game's complete and utilize their new found knowledge into future games.

7.5 out of 10....

I'm not sure if I want to give this site a hit to read this review. I think it's a trap.

I need to go back and play both ZOE again. It's been years since I've played them. I hope they're putting something together for the series.

On topic
I really want this team-up game to workout for both companies. I just hope they manage to find a balance between what each company is best at doing.

If this game succeeds, Konami and Platinum can team-up again to make a original game and start a new game series altogether. That is...if they h...

Glad to see someone using some tact. He prefers "Tactical Espionage Action" and that's understandable. Metal Gear Rising is "Lightning Bolt Action" so it's pretty much a different genre like Metal Gear Acid 1/2 was "Turn-based Tactics". I don't prefer Metal Gear Acids style but that doesn't deem the game to be crap, it's just not my thing.

This situation isn't a matter of how good the gameplay mechanics are, it's more...

Cutting through everything created gameplay issues. If you're able to cut through anything, what can pose itself as a challege? Nothing really.

Because Capcom has lost their minds.

I'm glad some of you are finally cooling down now after the recent videos. A little extra information goes a long way in helping us see the entire picture doesn't it?

Kojima is cracking the whip at Platinum games and I'm sure they don't want to disappoint. Give this game more time. Remember this is the first time they ever showed this particular build of the game. They're already doing things better and faster than anything Capcom has accomplished on the D...

This is a unique combonation for sure. Putting a story together from scratch, for they could free Platinum from narrative restrictions is the riskiest part of this whole thing. They had to acknowledge Raidens position after the event of MGS4 and find something for him to fight for again. Snake is "retired" and if something happens Raiden may be forced to step up to ensure the worlds safety.

I'm glad they posted this documentary. Now we all have the information, so we can understand the entire situation. If Konami and Platinum Games can combine their strengths they can make something great.

It's also interesting to see Konami finding their weaknesses during the games development. Instead of trying to appeal to us westerners, they stuck to their guns, found another Japanese company that could strengthen their weakness and make something unique. I applaud t...

Don't worry it's canonical game set in a different timeline. It just doesn't touch anything in Snakes timeline. I think Kojima is just trying to get people to like Raiden now. There's so much disdain for Raiden it's crazy. I didn't have a problem with Raiden after his radical change in MGS4. If some people don't like him as a katana wielding killing machine then they're never going to like him.

Wow! I think you just pinpointed the issue at hand here shadow skill. Excellent deduction. I guess Metal Gear is so synonymous with stealth and Snake, some fans can't except Metal Gear Rising for what it is...a hack n' slash action game starring Raiden.

There's a possibility that can still be in the game. Like a ability or something.

5164d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's still associated with Metal Gear therefore it still is a Metal Gear game. It has nothing to do with Snake, so they took out the Solid.

I didn't know people still hated Raiden this much. I'm still baffled as to what people were expecting.

5164d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

I'm confused with the fan reaction. Did they not know it was going to be an action game? They could've had stealth elements in the game, but when you're strong enough to yield a battleship, what's the point of sneaking around? Solid Snake is all about sneaking and taking down enemies in a strategic manner. Raiden clearly turned into a hack and slash type character in MGS4. I remember people complaining about not be able to play Raiden in MGS4.

Is it the fact ...

Yes! I really hope it's Shenmue. That game was ahead of its time. =D

ATTENTION: The article you're about to read is full of whining and complaining. I'd advise anyone who wants to save precious minutes of their life not to read this.

Simply put...it's a lame article and worthy of many facepalms. -_-
