We will find out in the next 6 months to see where this goes. When Duke Nukem Forever was finally completed, I had high hopes for Shenmue to be completed as well. I have a feeling this will be Shenmue's last hurrah if it doesn't happen in the upcoming generation. It been too long of a wait as it is.
I just hope I get to complete the Shenmue series before I die. I'm not getting any younger, accidents happen, and there are nuts running amuck in this world. Other games have come and gone, but Shenmue is still the one game that has left me on a cliff-hanger for over 10% of my expected life span.
If Sony can complete the Shenmue series, that will be one chapter I can conclude in all my years of gaming...and it will be so sweet to finally fight Lan Di.
Indeed Snookies12.
The only era that has ended this year was Ps2, and that was YEARS after Ps3 launched. Sony isn't finished with Ps3 anytime soon. We're seeing the best of what it has to offer now.
Feel the earth move and then...
This is the game I want the most next gen. It's good to see they're making additional content for the players to customize their characters with. Double Helix is doing a great job. I really hope there is a PC port of the game eventually.
Chris Sabat is doing the voice over.

Capcom has been horrible this generation, but I can only hope they restructure the way they do business for they can become the amazing video game company I remembered from the past.
When the government gets involved with anything their solution turns into a messy pile of garbage we have to sift through. I don't really like talking about politics, but if you want my opinion they're all just babies parading around with false maturity.
Oh well, time to chip away at the ever growing Trillions and Trillions of dollars. *facepalm*
He's an excellent voice actor. His vocal range, accents, and pitch control are all rather outstanding.
If they're delaying it because the game isn't living up to their expectations we're better off waiting. I honestly don't want to play a game that had potential, but wasn't fully realized. There are too many potentially good games that fall into that pit of disappointment.
Thanks for the extra information. I will check it out.
Seeing all this negativity unfold in the gaming world doesn't feel right.
It's starting to feel...political.
I remember when people rejected Wind Waker because of the visual style, even though it was an excellent Zelda game. I'm glad the HD version is getting the kudos it deserves.
That's one jaded journalist.
So many fun looking Kickstarter games to invest in.
Capcom relying on DLC is like relying on buckets to stop The Titanic from sinking.
My only regret is not giving enough money for a custom numbered T-shirt, but I'm glad I was able to contribute to this historic event. Congrats everyone, for successfully funding this awesome project.
Getting any game system at launch can sometimes start on shaky foundation. The best thing to do is be patient and wait until everything stabilizes. There's still a ton of games I'm playing through on Ps3, so I've got plenty of content to hold me over until next gen settles into a solid place. Ps3 is at it's peak right now and there's no way I'm ignoring all these awesome games.
