This had to be exactly the way everyone was thinking going from PS2 to PS3 right up until the actual reveal and for a lot of people even after it. Yeah if your wearing a blindfold. Sony has The Last of US II coming out....sometime this year, FF7 as a timed exclusive and Ghost of Tsushima but these are only announced as PS4 games. They still have some PS5 games to announce. Xbox has Gears Tactics, Bleeding Edge just came out, Halo Infinite, probably a Forza and we know that that will be on both consoles. Neither has announced anything new on their new consoles yet we are all still waiting.
They didn't rush this at all it was originally supposed to come out with RE2 but they ran out of time. That's why it's coming out only a year later.
