Games, movies, TV shows, sports, are all forms of entertainment. Some people like one more than the other. I like everything evenly and am glad MS decided to make a dreambox for millions of customers like myself. One system to rule them all. Some people might just want a dedicated system so there are other alternatives. Whatever fits their bill, as long as they are happy.
totally agreed. People forget that console gaming is similar to the razor blade business in that consoles are sold at a loss or break even point to keep prices low so more customers will buy them. They make most of the money from game royalty fees from third party game sales. It is the publishers that have most of the power to dictate a lot of the decisions on gaming politics and not console makers.

In that Feb interview, All Sony said was they will not second hand games, which is the same thing MS said about the One. The piece never went into full details about DRM, use game fee, etc. Nice try though, I gave you that. ;)

The X power button is the guide button and I had hit it multiple times during matches because like you said, you can hit it with your thumb when it slips during gameplay. I am glad they move it on top so it can be avoided during matches. I am sure this is a feedback they got from a lot of X360 players.

I sense fear within you. As of right now, there are ZERO customers on the PS4, so yes, I see the publishers holding all the cards on this matter. DRM is coming, it is the next step of console evolution whether you like it or not.

What? It can't be? All I have been hearing is that DRM for console gaming is exclusive for the Xbox One. I think it might be timed exclusive for a month like COD then. :\
