Making this game a sequel instead of an expansion is a huge mistake on Valve's part. I'd really like to hear the thinking behind the decision.

I've played GT3 and GT4, they are boring as hell. A racing 'simulation' game without crashes is like watching a PG rated porno movie.
I could see how it might be fun to anyone under 16 who has never driven a car before, but I have had much more fun driving/racing/crashing cars in REAL life.
I'm all for realistic physics, controls, and graphics, but let me do something fun with them. Give me an experience I couldn't normally get driving my own car and/or jerking-off to a car-parts ...
I think they should ban add-ons completely. In fact, they should ban scripting and macros. Everyone should have to play with the default UI and default keys.

They STILL haven't made a proper sequel to BF2. It's not that complicated, the formula is already great, just upgrade the graphics and add a few features (and make a working stats system). Ok, maybe it's not easy, but JESUS CHRIST, it has been long enough.

Surprisingly, pretty good game. Graphics current gen. Had no tech problems, ran flawlessly. Voice acting / cut-scenes solid.
Played single and co-op split screen.
Split screen fun, but unwieldy. Needs online/Lan Coop. Maybe patch? Maybe next episode?
Price good.

It really doesn't make sense to have a 2007 game for the "game of the year '08".
Maybe MGS4 didn't get many nominations because the game sucks.
Either way, who cares?
But-- The artist might want to have a look at some naked women (for reference) before he tries to render one.
Though if that was an option I guess it would kind of negate the whole purpose making a nude mod.
