The game is well on it's way for march, it is very unlikely for it to get pushed back again.
If they do bundle MGS with the PS3 and a rumble controller then you can bet that PS3's will fly off selves. Like I've stated in pervious comments next year is the year that PS3 will shine and will make it's real move on winning this gen console war.
I think bundling their systems with two games is good but it won't effect the sales of NINTENDO or SONY. The PS3 will sale because of the new games and price cut, a for the Wii it will always sell because just about everyone wants one just to have at home. The 360 will sell but like I said it won't effect their competitors.
I think if SINGSTAR is pushed back then this is bad for SONY. SINGSTAR is really big in the Europe and with xmas coming very soon this would be the perfect time to release it, more people would buy it more during the holiday session. SINGSTAR is a system seller in Europe for SONY and pushing it back is a really bad idea.
I really can't wait to see the sales charts for the PS3 when the price cut and new model takes effect, SONY will reach 11 million by march they can easily do it with the new games coming out this holiday session. But the real momentum will come next year for them when MGS4, LBP, KILLZONE 2 and more comes out. I believe we will see another price cut for the 40 and 80 Gb in Q2 08.
I really don't think this bundle will come over here in the US but if it is coming out in the UK it won't out sell PES2008+PS3 bundle.
The GT series have always delivered great graphics and GT5 is no different, it's going to be the best looking racing game out. I've never seen graphics that good before on any other console.
That's why it's a good that SONY bundled the PS3 with it this holiday session. I can see a lot of PS3 being sold in UK because of this game. I think it will sell really well for the PS2 more but it's still a win win for SONY either way.

I had the same problems yesterday when I was playing but with time they'll fix it so don't b1tching about it people.
I was playing HALO 3 just yesterday afternoon with my girlfriends little brother and I have to say it's really(when the XBL is working)fun but there are times where there is a glitch. And if you think I'm lying about playing it yesterday just check out my gamertag.
I don't think this is a good idea simply because not to many people want those games, the only people that are going to buy those bundles are parents trying to save some money and I think most parents are going after a Wii not a 360 for their kids. Most gamers like our selves aren't interested in those game(most of us owns or already played them)we're looking into newer games out and want a price cut.
Besides TRANSFORMERS coming out I don't see a big hit out there to make people buy a HD-DVD PLAYER, I was thinking about buying a 360 attachment just for TRANSFORMERS but that's not a good idea to buy it for one movie. By the end of this year it's safe to say HD-DVD is dead if they don't make a come back right now.
To tell you the truth most kids really don't care about BC they just want to play new games that they haven't getting a chance to play yet, and as for parents they don't know anything about BC unless someone tells them about it. As for the people selling the systems in stores they might the parents about how the system has BLU-RAY and might be more interested in buying it, but retailers are looking into making money they won't sit there and give people a reason not to buy a system they'll do ...
I know a ton of people who will be buying this 40Gb or the 80Gb once the price cut is announced. The sales of the PS3 will double from now on, I know a ton of 360 fanboys will disagree but it's the truth. What you 360 fanboys have to realize that there are over a 100 million PS owners out there who are loyal to SONY and are just waiting for the price of the PS3 to lower in order to get one.

I know that the PS3 really doesn't need a cooling system but this is way to cool to pass up, I would buy a 40Gb or a 160Gb PS3( that's if the 160Gb really does come out in the US) and mod it just like how this guy moded his PS3.
I'm happy that the PS3 is getting a lot of exclusives again, next year is going to be the year that SONY take over this gen.
Yo if this is true I am so getting this new model, 2 HDMI ports and 6 USB ports that is so sweet :) I can't wait for it to come out. But I think it won't be avaliable until next year around the time of the next price cut(during the release of MGS4) around Q2 08.
I knew they wouldn't get rid of the backward compatibility, it would have been a really bad move on their part if they did but good work SONY.
