There's quite a few great games been released on the PS3 the past few years,console launch with Resistance : Fall Of Man and Motorstorm (Two BRILLIANT games to say they were beginning titles and both expect multiple sequels) anyone?
Although I do see your point,the calibre of these so called AAA games is rising rapidly.

Being a PS3 owner myself its cringeworthy to see the fanatical nature you bash 360's and praise anything SONY.
They've built a good base with the 360,which they didn't really have with the original Xbox.
They could quite easily put a new console into production and still continue the Xbox360.
You're expecting me to shell out an EXTRA fifteen quid when it's the same engine,same graphics,same character models ( look how many "guys with a gasmask" there is),same game length and the same crappy AI?
