Forza is going to be a 2 disc game and in order to play the game to the fullest, you have to do a mandatory install from the 2nd disc on a HDD and not every 360 owner has a HDD. HD DVDs are really holding this generation back and Forza probably could've been more if it had more disc space.
That's was pretty pathetic. I mean, Forza isn't using 2D backdrops like GT5 Prologue but GT is a 2yr old downloadable game. Forza should've dusted GT 5 but it failed in every single screen shot. On GT, the cars look photo realistic, the foreground is picture perfect and the only bad part is the backdrop, which is negligible since you'll be staring at the car and I must mention this again, but it is a downloadable demo!!! Indeed you're correct my friend. I'm not very good at math and I was trying to do that in my head while on Theraflu (math and Flu medicine don't mix together well). The point I was trying to make is that a lot of Xbox only users are touting this as a triple a title and going by their standards, a system pusher would include high sales. Also, I know sales aren't going to end after two wks and it'll be interesting to see what happens when word of mouth for ODST starts working it's way into play...
Everybody wants to talk numbers so lets talk numbers. The Xbox user base is around 28 million, right? (correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not sure if this is the right number) Halo ODST sold 2.2 million copies, right? That means ODST sold less than 2% of it's fanbase. So does that really make ODST a juggernaut of the Xbox? I can bet one thing, that game more than likely didn't move any systems and was only supported by an already established user base. Go ahead and try and spin that.
Xbots are defending this game because its the only thing they have to look forward to. We have both this game (which I won't be picking up) and Uncharted 2 to look forward to.
