If the game is mainly popular in Japan then i can see why they would cancel it. People would never forget what happened but its a shame still.

RPG's and fighting games are not casual games. Wii sports and kinectimals are examples of casual games.
On topic, only sony isn't going down the casual road and it doesn't look like they intend to either.
After seeing the games coming out this year and the NGP then we can clearky see what sony spends their money on and as long as they don't follow the casual route then we're safe.
Since NPD doesn't track bundled games, KZ3 sales might be a lot higher than what was shown.

I'm not defending VGC but in Europe there are more PS3's than 360's so it does make sense. Thats why Fifa 11 and Dead Space 2 have more copies sold on the PS3.

I disagree about that there are more fanboys for Xbox360 or PS3 more than Nintendo though. I think Nintendo has just as much as the other consoles.
I also think another thing that causes this is lies and bias against a console and its games from the media, this gen especially.

I didn't even know about this so we get custom made quests by users and official ones by Square Enix. Sounds good and replay value which wasn't suffering just increased even more.
