It annoys me knowing that the game would have been better if they didn't cut out so much things. I hope XIII-2 will be the last multiplatform main title game.

My most anticipated game this gen.
According to the directors a lot of people asked for it. I guess we will see how many people liked XIII after XIII-2 goes on sale
People also complain that the psp should have its own identity not just be a portable ps2. It's games like Crisis Core and Dissidia which does that.
Also they may be cheaper to develop but SE did not cut any corners in pushing the limits of the psp for those games.
I don't think the datalog is for the storytelling. I think it's just there for recaping. I remember when playing XIII, i couldn't play it for a week and the quick summary from the datalog that comes up when you load the save helped me get back up to speed when i resumed.
Sounds like they only mean the numbered FF's because Crisis Core and Dissidia are from an abomination and Type-0 is looking like a beast so far.
I haven't heard complaints about the handheld FF's this gen. This is the first time actually. It's usually XIII that gets all the negative press.

I still want one but. I'm sure the prices will increase after a while.
Once the shortages have been dealt with, it will be back to normal or even a spike with the software sales.

The Skype part was truly epic.
I don't think it's about price. The Wii is selling poorly there and it's cheaper than the PS3. It's the software IMO
