Exactly what I'm saying even though I got the disagree's lol. A group of friends may not want to take the plunge now but next gen will be the best time.
Free online, PS+ and Sony's first party offerings will be hard for many to resist.
A lot of people paying for live find it ridiculous as well but all their friends are using live so what they're paying for is worth the price to them because they get to play with their friends.
They could jump ship to the PS3 but if none of their friends are using it then it might not be worth what your saving.
MS caught Sony with their pants down by gaining market share releasing a year in advance as well as having some key features that PSN doesn't...
This is Santa Monica we're talking about here. I have faith in them. If anything, they would probably improve on previous titles in certain areas but lets wait and see.
In fairness VGChartz numbers are meant to be the amount sold to customers while Sony's numbers is the amount shipped to retailers.
Even still the shipped figure is better to use, VGChartz are not that reliable when it comes to numbers like you said.
Account management doesn't show up when you access the PS3 by remote play.
Works very fast. I queued up some PS+ games then switched on my PS3 to download them.
All we need now is for the Vita to be able to access the store or account management(for your download list) remotely and it will be complete.
I won't be surprised if some people stopped using the PSN store now that this is here.
That was Sick.
I can't wait to see more competitive play of this game.
WNF had a tournament but I want to see more.
He got banned for the Wii-U launch.Praise The Lord!
This is just like Dissidia Final Fantasy in terms of content. I put in 700 hours in that game and only had 1 ad-hoc battle ever.
I'm glad this is cross buy so I can take it anywhere because I'll be this for a long time.
This,
I remember taking Vanilla Marvel vs Capcom 3 to a friend's house and couldn't show off Sentinel or Akuma because they were locked characters.
Back in the days of memory cards it was fine because you could take your save file with you but nowadays it's better as it is IMO.
I don't think it's that straight forward.
The guys in Team ICO said they didn't want any of there characters in the game but they're first party.
Likewise with Capcom, the Monster Hunter team didn't want anything in MH to be in Marvel vs Capcom 3 but they're all Capcom.
Also Kat and Emmett are pretty new charactesr so the call to greenlight them for the game probably came a lot later than the original cast. Remember th...
Free Character DLC's for the first two weeks. Other fighters should take note. Superbot is doing it right.
I thought Kat will come but not so soon. Emmett will also be very interesting as well. I'm guessing his level 3 will be him in a Starhawk
Why not just buy the game, trade it in once your done with it and pick it up when/if it's on plus.
Also Gravity Rush and Uncharted are there because they're first party titles and they wanted to kick start PS+ on the vita. I wouldn't expect games like those every month especially third party titles. It will be similar to the games that the PS3 plus users are getting which are smaller cheap titles like PSN(/PSP) games or old blockbuster titles to promote/ build a b...
Picked up both Sly and Jak & Daxter collections.
Fat Princess was the best
A lot of the features for smartglass(and Wii-U in some cases) are things you can't do while your playing the game.
The article had changing playlists in dance central as an example. Unless you're playing with friends it isn't really useful.
Don't get me wrong smartglass has massive potential and the implementation in Horizon shows, but it works really well in his case because he has 2 screens next to each other like the Nintendo DS. It won'...
Video showing of cross play

Actually a lot of sony's games feature cross-buy.
Off the top of my head
Playstation All Stars
Sly Cooper Theives in Time
Ratchet and Clank Q Force
Sound Shapes
Motorstorm RC
Hustle Kings
I will be getting both versions especially since it's in house.
You must have missed Crisis Core, Dissidia and Type-0.
Not only do they play great, they also look great too.
