The skill of the top players are just amazing. Players like Daigo, Justin wong, Marlin pie, Combofiend etc.. I would never be at their level.

Nah they said it's going into 100% production meaning it's now their main priority so all hands on deck whereas before some people would be helping out with the other games they had coming out.

Daigo is a legend but i won't say surpassing him is impossible. Records are meant to be broken but whoever wants to take his crown better get to work.
I would say pull out but they're probably making at least some money from Xbox live. No point trying to go all out with bundles and advertising though because it won't work. If monster Hunter and Tales couldn't help you in Japan then i doubt a Kinect bundle will.

FF is all about innovation. If Square stuck to their NES roots we wouldn't have had the PSX FF games the way they were. They find new ways to make each game an enjoyable experience and always take full advantage of the hardware.

Versus looks good and so does type-0 and even XIV after seeing the latest trailer. The only problem is they are not out yet so we can't judge.
The only way to take FF forward is for SE to allocate resources better and to not let games take so long. We all know they are very capable of making great games but it's just taking too long with the way they spread themselves thin.
I think MvC3 or SFxT did this and also remembers people who rage quits and pairs them up when matchmaking. That should be the standard
