actually, we have 5 hdtv's in our house right now and we don't have hd cable, because we only use it to watch blu-ray disc and upconverted dvd's. i'm sure most of the rest who owns that hdtv are the same as us.
you're wrong, plasma has better color, contrast ratios, and faster refresh rates than lcd. generating picture quality way superior to LCD.
Plasmas = Billions of colors. LCD = Thousands of colors

Plasma doesn't get burn-ins anymore, and LCD gets dead pixels once in awhile.

the ps3 version is more color vibrant and crisper, it also has more texture on the roads and the trees. the 360 looks washed out and dull.

damn i agree with Pioneer winning best hdtv, their plasma's are top notch, expensive as hell but the quality is amazing. i only got a Samsung, Panasonic Viera, and LG plasma and then a Sony Bravia XBR2 LCD but my next plasma is going to be a Pioneer Elite
