Tell this to the ps3 black ops players ;) showing the xbox footage and then when the ps3 version came out it was the biggest humbug on a console ever.
No one complained about crysis 2 so why this game??? Atleast this game runs native 720p unlike the former and has actual destruction unlike the former ;)

If you guys read the article they are talking about equal support for both platforms, NOTHING to do with graphics or "quality". This is a VERY misleading title -_-

and there is a little black bar on the top of the gameplay if you look closely at the tv and that is the 16 missing pixels. They didn't scale it.

I can finally agree with you and say the gameplay footage owned mw3 and crysis 2. Crysis 2 was a mess in the framerate department while cod just has very bad sub hd graphics. Plus none of those games had destruction that this game has on consoles. Instead of fighting over bf3 pc vs consoles lets focus on bf3 vs mw3 instead shall we ;)
and btw bf3 runs at a higher res than both crysis 2 and cod games. 1280 x 704 w/mlaa on the ps3.

the res was 1280 x 704 and does feuture mlaa. I watched this in HD on a 60 inch tv and I have to say that this game is going well and that while the console versions are not up to pc standards, which other fps has this type of destruction and can maintain a steady fps this game is meant to pit up against mw3 and so far I am seeing better stuff on bf3 than mw3. lol it looks much better than mw3 and runs at a steady frame rate without any hiccups (Crysis 2... lol). This is the single best looking game on the console so far. The pc version oth was way better then this as well but good to see mlaa is working fine ;) can't wait for october 25th!!!
it's just that pc players are telling console players off saying that consoles will be garbage at bf3. console players just want a piece of the greatness that pc players are getting with bf3 but hey it is great to be hopeful ;)
PC players need to stop with bf3 will be better on pc crap. First they say bf3 is way better than cod and then say bf3 will stink on consoles so what you are telling console players to f*ck off and play mw3? I don't get what the problem is with pc players. No one is saying that consoles will look as good as the pc version but they are hoping for the best experience they can get on their console.

and 16 pixels is hardly subhd and anyways they still have many months to get ps3 to 720p it will take 2% more performance to do 720p and I doubt dice will leave it at 704p.

They said the same thing about crysis 2 the same thing about la noire and also the same for portal 2. Whenever a game dev does say it looks the same than its humbug and one version is BETTER than the other ;) Anyways after reading the full story dice said that there are some differences so atleast they are honest.
Most shooters aren't 720p native. The only ones I can think up are Killzone, Uncharted, Gears, and BC2. Well atleast DICE has a history of making 720p native games. If you guys have more than feel free to add them.
But really in which other shooter can you break buildings, shoot through and break walls, etc? I'd rather have more destruction than glorified graphics with no interaction (physics) of any sort. And I was actually surprised to learn this is being rendered ...
