I kind of get the feeling that is what EA is hoping. They are trying to kill of PC gaming - its better for them.
I vote that gets added to the dictionary! "abj. To remove standard features for no given reason".
It seems EA are intent on killing the PC version of this game. Why bother releasing it on PC if they are going to be half-arsed about it?
I've got to replace my keyboard, is the Logitech wireless? (I don't want wireless for obvious gaming reasons)
I don't think the keyboards themselves are that crap - just the design!
How is it the same as BF2? I can download the dedicated server software right now for BF2, I can't however for BFBC. BF2 has custom maps, BFBC won't... ( http://www.fileshack.com/fi...
Also if they are going to give the dedicated software to certain companies to rent it out etc, it will be leaked anyhow. I really doubt this will stop piracy much.
The chicken and the egg really. The game studios feel piracy is stopping them making an effort, and the pirates feel they won't pay unless the studios make the effort..
It's not got dedicated servers that can be downloaded and run, which for some is very important. For example some setups have a LAN build running a dedicated server, and much more complex edits can't be done without having the software. :(
It might just be they could not be bothered with the extra effort that is required with releasing server software etc - I doubt they care much about the PC market much any more.
There are some things that simply can't be done with body control, so I doubt we will see the end of the average controller.
I still think what is more amazing is what could come from this! VR is one step closer thanks to Natal!
Hmm.. sex games could work well in Natal... with certain adapters.. wait, nevermind...
Is that sarcasm? I can never tell how fast your clapping :)
Yeah, actually I think you've made that quite clear! Haha.
I've always found this a cool little idea. It depends on the cost however. If it's got rubbish games but the easy ablity to browse the movies etc then it may be worth it, but only at the right pricing level.
I'm pretty sure people knew what they thought of the Wii before it came out. Now unless Microsoft are keeping something up there sleeves I think it's clear to say it's a What you see is what you get type of hardware.
Any reason you think so? Or just felt like adding a null point to the topic ;)
Is the money really in the hardcore market? If so then someone better tell Nintendo who have managed to make more than Microsoft, with mainly casual games. The money is in the casual market, it always has been, but it's not been tapped into yet!
Hah! I love that Devil May Cry One.
