Simple solution, keep your PS3. I am buying a PS4 to play next-gen PS4 games, and not PS3 games. I'd rather save some $$$ and keep my PS3 then shell out $100 or so more just for PS3 compatibility.
I am ready whenever Sony are ready to release the beast. I already have my PS4 bundle and three other PS4 games paid off in full! :D

I'm a PlayStation fan and I think it's great that more gamers will be able to enjoy this great series. So he said some good things about the Xbox One, that doesn't mean that he hates the PS4.

I'm sure that both will be great, it's all a matter of preference. I have been a PS gamer all my life and I prefer the DS controller. Both look great, and it's nice to see that the DS4 controller is a little bigger than previous DS controllers for gamers with bigger hands (like myself).
My PS4 bundle and games are all payed off, I'm just waiting for the release date. No need for an Xbox One.

I'd be surprised if it didn't come to the PS4 later down the road. EA loves money, I doubt they would want to miss out on millions of potential sales on the PS4.

Yeah, the PS3's price tag was justified because of the Blu-Ray capabilities, the Xbox One is just really expensive. Okay, so let's just say that $499 is reasonable, but what about paying for a year of Xbox Live, an extra controller, a headset, some games etc. All those things add up and go WAY beyond the price of the Xbox One. I think I'll wait for a redesigned model at a much cheaper price to come out before purchasing an Xbox One console. I payed less than $499 for a PS4 bundled...
