The ps3 was pretty reliable. Its easy to fix by your self too. Back in 2008 I bought a ps3 but it broke in januray 09. Back then I didn't know how to open it up and fix so I replaced under warranty. The new one in 2010 got YLOD so I just open it up, and cleaned the crap out of then vaccumed it. Still working. I hope I can just pop the hod in the ps4 just like the ps3. Some times they need a oil change.

I personally hate the original 3DS. The XL is SO MUCH BETTER. The XL feels more like a VITA ( the screen size is the same). Seriously, I don't even like the 3DS that much but XL is a 100X better than original. Trade in the original for XL NOW. ( or maybe you can join the VITA Defense Group, we're low on numbers)
The VITA can save it's self. If we follow the X is dead mentality then the PSP and PS3 are also dead. Both didn't have mass market appeal until 2-3 years down the line. So I'll give up on the VITA if its still struggling in 2015. Right now its too early to call and it has too many awesome games coming to die.
