Still buying the game. Enjoyed both FFXIII and XIII-2.
Oh, and btw, no game deserves below 5 out of 10 unless its broken.
How would you know its "No surprise"
Considering what you wrote you implied that you played the game.
Pretty sure Yakuza 1 will hook you up and get you addicted. A couple of hours from that game could never satisfy me, as i always wamdered around and discovered many hidden side quests, not to mention the great story.
Does that mean its RE Outbreak #3??
Im reading too much into it.
Xenosaga is hard to find, like really. I wish namco would put it on the store.
Don't play the ones you have, you'll just ruin the story on yourself, if you have, try to forget it like me.
Ok, Yakuza 1 on 2005 PS2.
Yakuza 2 on PS2 in 2007 (I guess)
Yakuza 3 on PS3
Yakuza 4 on PS3
Yakuza 5 on PS3. That ends the main games.
For the spin offs that i know of:
Yakuza Kenzan on PS3
A Yakuza game on PSP (Black PAnther i think)
Yakuza Dead souls on PS3
Yakuza Ishin on PS3/PS4.
Gamers should think of what they did to Sega and missed on their gems this current gen.
Well, we can only hope for Sony 3rd party translation team, or just learn japanese. I might go the japanese route eventually.
I was looking for Yakuza 2, too bad it goes beyond 70$ on amazon, but i loved the first game to death, i think i might get Y2 eventually.
So good. Might import.
How was Yakuza Kenzan? i might import that aswell.
Look who's talking, the guy who never shows up when a people like georgenoob says something beyond fanboyish.
Its a direct sequel to Persona 4. Starts exactly 2 months after Persona 4's ending. I haven't really finished all the stories (Was afraid i might spoil Persona 3 The Answer).
Regarding the gameplay, it comes off to me as a much lighter BlazBlue. Its just that simple.
I'm currently switching back and forth between this and Tekken Tag , no problems at all.
EDIT:
Anytime :)
I don't get why most of these top 10 lists only mention big budget titles, Does a game HAVE to be AAA to be considered goty??
I read this as "We'll be pumping 8 to 10 DLCs per game"
Doubt that you even played the game. I guess you're a sheep in herd that bashes games based on reviews.
Omgomgomgomg hurr durr DOTA2 hurrrr!!!!!
Tearaway bombed because of dat marketing. VITA fanbase has a high attach rate.
I stopped buying games at launch, the 60$ tag is too much for a broken crap. I buy multiple games on Amazon for 30$ and less across several consoles. For that 60$ i can get multiple games with the game probably a month later or wait a year and get the super edition for 20$.
Their practices are not gonna die until gamers stop being "Sheep"
Good article.
Sums up my exact thoughts about gamers today and the AAA exclusive gamers who buy the same game every year.
Imo, 3 protagonists isn't really "innovation", Yakuza 4 did have 4 protagonists and it bombed, many other games had more than one protagonist.
Good to know your opinion on a game you probably didn't play. -__-
