Yes, you are right. Its not even a third person MAG its a third person CoD clone. I remember playing OLD SOCOM games from the 1st on. It was rooted in squad stealth wrapped in a sense of tension from not wanting to blow your cover and create a fire-fight because you'd die AND NOT RESPAWN! it forced you to think and check your corners and watch your squad-mate's back and do leap frogging to move up. However, what these shit-heads at Zipper did was wipe the Call Of Duty DNA of their fag...
Casual gaming/gamers have once again fucked over another awesome franchise. Re-spawns? Really? SOCOM NEVER was about hectic fire-fights and spawning 12x in a match. Old SOCOM was about tactics, stealth and calculating team work to take down enemies ya know LIKE REAL SEALS not run and gun like shitty Call Of Duty. And Classic mode is a goddamn joke and insulting to us hardcore fans.
