I'm glad that whenever I log off N4G and I go onto Xbox Live, xbox.com, or bungie.net that I'm surrounded by people that fully appreciate Halo for what it really is a fun game to play with friends.
Balanced, Addictive, and Fun are the 3 main things the Halo series is to me.

Halo is not all about obtaining the best graphics it's about obtaining the best gameplay experience. What makes the game great is that it has infinite replayablity, it's fun, and the graphics are colorful and creative from an artistic point of view.
Plus the BBC has better things to discuss than a video game, all they are doing is showing nongamers that Halo 3 is something that they are going to be hearing a lot of for months to come.

I played the PC version of Halo and it had a flamethrower...I won't be missing it if it's not in Halo 3.
To get back on subject on UT3 for the 360, if Epic doesn't put mods in UT3 for the 360 we won't be missing too much. But I'm not going to assume that they are not able to just yet. I'm just going to be patient and just wait for 2008 to come.
I know a lot of people that aren't buying a 360 until Halo 3 comes out. Halo is console seller and the Xbox community is probably going to double in size just because of the launch of Halo 3.
Good for you, you can stick with your PS3 and it's games while I'll stick with the Xbox 360 and it's games.
And yes Halo 3 is hyped because it's a solid game with solid gameplay and endless playablity, nothing wrong with that.

If the game is good they give it a good review and/or preview if the games sucks they give it a bad review and/or preview. Simple as that.
They are being honest, and when you have 3 people reviewing a game it gives people better insight of other people's opinions.

The only way to kill Halo's hype is to kill it's fans and genocide is very illegal the last time I checked.
I just read this months issue of EGM and my buzz meter is off the charts.
