For me the playstation 2 is my favorite because it was my first console and it's what got me into gaming
One character is dead out of dozens that you have, that's not a very good reason to restart a game unless you aren't particularly good at the game.
why would you reset a game if one character dies, that seems like overkill
@Kent "I agree, devs are allowed to develop their games as they see fit." read your original comment buddy, also how is the play something else mentality childish, if a person does not like basketball, they should not play basketball
The same tired old argument of calling somebody an idiot and not giving any real reason when somebody doesn't agree with you is worse than using the same old argument again
if a player isn't good at dark souls, they should either practice and get better, or they should play something else if they don't want to put the time in
@kalkano, @Brian, my analogy is saying that if some people can't do some things so we shouldn't have to dumb things down to let them, I'm not expecting to be able to play dark souls if i have a disability or if I'm old, so why should developers have to accommodate me if that's not their vision, I'm not meant to play that game so I'll just play another one, that's the reason there are many different genres of gaming
where are you getting the idea that FromSoft is not adding an easy mode because of the player base, if they wanted an easy mode in their game they would've added it in Dark Souls 1, the reason there is no easy mode is because they want to challenge players
adding a difficulty level does change the game, CoD can be a hard game if played on the highest difficulty, but most regard it as an easy game because it can be made easy, the same will happen to games like Dark Souls if they have a difficulty level
@kalkano a difficulty level does change the design of a game because you have to balance the difficulty on each level as to not make the game broken
If a guy in a wheelchair wants to run track, let him. See how stupid that sounds.
I disagree, if a game is too hard or too easy for you, than that game is just not meant for you, there are a wide variety of other games to play
The problem with your statement is that you are implying that to be good at playing an instrument you must be a natural, you have to learn to be good at an instrument, same as gaming and people may not respect a random gamer being good, but the pros are definitely respected, watch a professional gamer play and tell me any moron can be that good, also most people don't expect the reviewer to be a god, they expect them to at least be decent
Bethesda have said that the full game will not be available till launch to prevent piracy
The traditional console won't go away so fast dude, it's going to be relevant for a while and yes the hardware is outdated, but what's stopping MS and Sony from making another one
Fallout has tons of loading screens, I have no idea what you're talking about
yes
