I agree with you one hundred percent PapaBop. I mean, yeah, Blizzard gets some increased traffic to their game, but they're hurting the true fans in the process. It sucks and it isn't fair to those who genuinely enjoy the game that they've created.
Like I said earlier, they aren't holding a knife to you while they scream at you to play their game. As the title states, it's their attempt to force people by luring them with exclusive content. People love Overwatch, but not so many people like HotS. Players that want to get exclusive content for the game they love are basically "forced" into playing a game that they couldn't care less about.
The Blizzard heroes tie it all together and make it so much better. I like being able to play as a well-known character and already know my moveset going into it. It makes it so much easier to adapt and play. MOBAs absolutely have a horrible reputation, and while this one is a bit more casual, I do see it occasionally. I normally just assume it's a League of Legends player trying out the game, lol.
I understand what you're saying, but that's not the point here. What if you got an Overwatch skin for throwing an egg at a local McDonald's? The two things aren't related at all and that's exactly what is happening here. Yes, Blizzard makes both games. Notice how the other Blizzard games have nothing to do with Overwatch. They want their most successful game to aid their least successful game by these rewards.
I think it's just the concept. In reality, it isn't a ton of time being spent, but the fact that you even have to go out of your way to download the game and do it in the first place
Yeah, it's definitely way more easy to jump into! I've played League for years, but with all the build paths for items and unique actives and passives, it gets very overwhelming.
I agree that they can't "force" you to play a game, but they're doing their best to make you play it. Hardcore Overwatch fans don't want to pass up on a chance for an exclusive skin. The only way to get that skin is to play, so by that logic, it is an attempt to force Overwatch players to play a game they might not necessarily enjoy.
It depends. In quickplay I think it's fairly randomized. I'm level 20ish right now. I had some level 2s on my team and my opponents had a 90. Unranked might be more level-oriented.
I would genuinely enjoy playing the game if it wasn't all about Overwatch. I encounter so many bots and players that throw every single time I play the game. I don't think it's the greatest MOBA in the world, but it deserves a playerbase. It's awful how the Overwatch promotions have ruined the game for people that actually enjoyed it before.
Yep! You can get 4K quality videos and images. The horses will be looking better than ever!
I have an outdated 560m. Don't even have access to Shadowplay on this PC. My brother has it on his rig though and he loves it.
Shadowplay is so nice when it's compatible with what you're playing. Makes recording/streaming so much easier. Push a button and you're all set!
So for those of you that do enjoy Paragon, who are you guys playing a lot of these days? Anybody get some mastery level 10s?
It's all about perspective. If you see it differently than I do, that's perfectly fine. This is my own personal take on what's going on in this situation. Obviously, we don't agree and I'm just letting you know how I see this approach in my own eyes.
