lol....ok, point taken. :)
It probably doesn't warrant an article, and I didn't expect any approvals anyway.
Was just happy to see a taxi with something gaming related on it.
Nice to meet you as well, by the way. Haven't been on SA gamer in a looong time, but I'm definitely going to be checking it out more soon.
To be honest, I'm not sure if I registered as mantis za? Sounds like me though. What sites are...
It's a bigger deal for taxi's here in South Africa, and if you've ever seen the usual decals on our taxi's you'd understand (and probably appreciate it a little more)
Tossup for me between Farcry 3 and Borderlands 2...either way, it's definitely one of the best games in the last 5 years at least.
I agree with you that gaming shouldn't be blamed for psychological issues, but like many things in this world it can contribute. Imagine allowing a child to watch the recent Evil Dead movie? That would mess any child up a little bit for sure.
While games like MK4 were violent and certainly gory, the graphics were cartoony at best. If you compare MK4 to the latest version with it's realistic graphics, over the top Fatalaties and X-ray sequences you'll see what I m...
Agreed, many of the forms of entertainment we used to enjoy as kids are far more adult themed and realistic than before. Many parents are oblivious to this, and maybe more concerned with keeping their kids occupied than paying attention to the influences their kids are exposed to.
To Digital Analog,
Yes, I have gone through this, but the section you mention is regarding certain types of posts and doesn't encompass all of them.
I agree with you on the domain side of things and I am planning on doing so soon.
Apologies if my comment appeared to be aimed at you. It wasn't and I do appreciate your feedback on this.
Firstly, Send me the link on where that is stated, and secondly...If that's the case then why were we accepted as a contributor?
For those of you who think that our site is "crappy", just remember your origins in the industry. Sure, our site hasn't been around for very long (and certainly has a long way to go), but that doesn't mean that our articles are any less relevant.
Self-entitlement doesn't make you a better reviewer (or game...
Granted, my writers title may be a little misleading...certainly the Call of Duty Franchise doesn't need saving on the sales front. But, in order for it to continue to do as well looking forward, it may need need to change things up a bit regarding play style, maps, and weapons. Black Ops 2 may be the solution to this potential problem that Activision may end up seeing in the future. They are simply circumventing potential problems later.
Yeah, you have a good point. It has a good possibility of ending up being cross-platform considering Bethesda's recent track-record.
ok, good choice there....but was he really a badass?
In truth this list is more dedicated to the anti-heroes. Gordan Freeman wasn't really an antihero as such.
lol. Good for you. I didn't really care. The benefits were worth it.
We're working on it.....trust me.
Regarding the title of the article.......This refers to the crafted set of Daedric Armor (not necessarily the daedric quests) The majority of people consider these pieces to be the best in the game. In context, the title is correct when referring to the content of the article.
At the time that was probably considered innovative.
The usual way to deal with a boss around that time was shoot like crazy to lower his health and dodge the occasional pixelated fireball.
Hitting a switch........????
Probably one of the first times to use that at all.
Yeah, but Chrono Trigger was so damn good that most o fus avoided the last boss until we completely overpowered.
Same for me in Final Fantasy 10..........leveled up so much that I one-shotted all the last bosses. (including the final boss)
I agree with all of these.
One thing though.......Surely every boss battle in Deus Ex Human Revolution is worth mentioning as well. lol.
Apologies, Description incorrect. All 7 Graviton Core locations are included in the video.
Understandable.
My point is this though....you own all 3 consoles, so therefore you can appreciate all of them as well. Everyone has their favorite, of course.
The thing is that most fanboys out there who mock the other consoles either don't have them or haven't had enough exposure to appreciate them.
I must agree though that the same can apply to genres of games as well. (like you mention above.)
First Person Shooter...
I'm the same. The potential thief would certainly get a nasty surprise.
"Thought I was asleep, did you? No such luck...."
lol. Definitely!!!
