I believe it all starts with the media and the cronies that call themselves journalists. If the media actually reported without clear bias or flaimbait articles, then I really think that fanboyism will be noticeably reduced. Articles like this proves that there are good people trying to be unbiased and I say more power to you.
From what I've seen in the video, this game doesn't look as bad as the media and 360 fangirls made it sound. It doesn't beat Killzone in gfx or amount of things going on on-screen though. After playing Killzone and having intelligent enemies flanking, setting you up, etc. other fps just seem boring and slow.
