@ darthv72. No. If you do some research, Mark Cerny has stated it not hard to do the pro version at all. It takes like a few days work. The pro is not holding anything back.
If you also listen to Shuhei Yoshida, he said that this generation, games are much harder to make and take longer to make, in regards to triple A titles. He mentioned this in his interview of the Kind Of Funny stage podcast at PSX a week or so ago.

Sony had a whole generation to learn from their mistakes. It took them a very long time to catch up to Microsoft and eventually beat them last generation.
Microsoft were winning from the get go. So because that didn't learn from anything, they wanted to push things further in favour of themselves. Always online DRM. TV media box etc. They became arrogant and tried to force certain things on us.
