I purposely avoided playing the alpha and the beta and avoided watching any gameplay besides the first ever shown because I wanted to go into this game as fresh as can be and take everything in... but I skipped this video to the big toad mini-boss for 5 seconds and the surge of pure excitement has filled me with intense emotions. You know exactly what Microsoft are doing. Everyone here knows. Some will tip-toe around it and say it's good business. Some will over-exaggerate and say it's the end of the world. BUT EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT MICROSOFT ARE DOING. There are on another level compared to Nintendo and Sony is this regard. It is my opinion that you can't trust Microsoft. When they're losing they get even worse. Desperate almost. They need that marketshare.
Microsoft are scum in my opinion. No company has the level of PR spin and deceives quite like Microsoft. But, it's not my problem because I don't own an Xbox One. I have a cracked version of Windows 10 on my PC. Microsoft get NONE of my money. I dislike them greatly. It is my opinion, that they can't be trusted.
Makes sense. They have to do whatever they can just to sell consoles. That usually means misleading advertising. Big sales. Big incentives like many free games.
But they are desperate. If it was selling well, they would not be adding even more money of the cost and adding more free games. They're not doing it to be nice. They're doing it for more sales. If it does not sell well, then they will take off even more money from the price.

More sales means better things for us. More games, more 3rd party games. More exclusives. Developers feel confident putting certain games on your console. If it did not sell well, you would probably not get a lot of ports from PC etc. Just look at the Wii-U.
