You forgot the diversity of Americans. They range from the hillbillies to Atheists to nerds and so off. Of course people are going to have different opinions regarding consoles and exclusives, whereas smaller countries like Japan and Europe will have a a more united sense of traits which they treat each other like a family.
Pfft. Here are a few of Gamespot's "reliable" scores from some games:
InFamous 2: 7.5
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: 7.5
On the other hand, the Call of Duty games get great to superb scores-
Call of Duty: Black Ops: 9.0
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: 9.0
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3: 8.5
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2: 8.0
League of Draven lol. LoL is by far one of the best competitive multiplayer games I've played in a while.
The best RPG this generation has got to be Lost Odyssey. I'd like to see Versus XIII topple this game though.
Knowing how overpriced this generation consoles and most likely next generation consoles and GAMES will be, I have no interest in them at all. At most, I'll probably borrow or go to a friend's house if there is a game that interest me.

I'm staying away from the N4G site when the reviews for Halo 4 comes out PERIOD. I know, without a doubt, that fanboy wars will erupt and sure as hell will not be pretty. Mark my words on that.
