Facts do support the ps5 is on another level. A level below the series x in efficiency and performance gpu wise. The series x has features the ps5 doesn’t and it will make a difference. Early showings of big Navi absolutely show rdna2 is a substantial leap over rdna1. If a developer does their job correctly and gets the most out of both boxes the series x will noticeably outperformed the ps5 end of story
Crazy thing is the fridge is still smaller than the ps5.... :)
Great to see the series x go that extra mile . This hasn’t been a secret though. We have known one system has better rdna2 integration for months now
How’s the system that will be outperformed in every multiplat game the only next gen system?
They just aren’t gonna spill the beans until the ink is dry officially early next year. They bought Bethesda as a long term investment in the Xbox echo system. After the two timed deals are up everything else will be Xbox and pc only. They definitely didn’t drop 7.5 billion so Sony or Nintendo can collect 25% off every copy sold on their respective platforms. Xbox and gamepass will have a steady stream of high quality games
The august update introduced the next gen Xbox ui. They do have a next gen ui it’s just already been out for a couple of months. The thing that will make the Xbox series x stand out from other next generation machines is the superior performance it will offer. You know playing games better than any other console. Kind of a big deal
No Sunset Overdrive!!!! That’s crazy
Well I can speak the language pretty well. Just learning to write it
Over clocking will never make up for cu cores and whoever told u the sx is hard to develop on lies to u. Both systems are easy to work with but due to less efficient hardware and less power the ps5 takes more work on the back end to reach top performance. It’s why you will see plenty of dynamic 4k and non native 4k on the system. The development tools for the s and x are fantastic but still a work in progress due to Microsoft waiting 6 plus months longer to implement a full rdna2 feature set....
Cool glad we could straighten this out. So how’s my English? I just started trying to learn the language last week
Nobody reads these articles. They just read the headline and start fighting it out in the comments. The dirt 5 developer is talking about if the extra power of the gpu effected the actual development of the game. Performance of said gpu difference is not mentioned in this article
We are talking about two different things. The sx cpu is either 3.8 or 3.6 while using smt. It’s gpu remains locked at 12.15 .
The ps5 uses smart shift and if you want max gpu performance it’s gonna cost u cpu wise .
After reading the article it kinda seemed almost like the writer took a quote and made it say what he wanted it to say. obviously the more powerful kit is gonna run the game better. Plus you really can’t just say the ps5 is a 10.28!tflop system. It can be but you have to sacrifice performance on the cpu side. The ps5 has 3 preset performance options. One lets you get peak performance from the cpu one lets you get peak performance from the gpu and one balancing both in the middle. I’d imagine ...
These retailers have agreements in place to hold products till the proper street dates for many reasons. With modern tech such as phones and consoles the manufacturer is still working on and tweaking things up to the last few days they release. I am lucky enough to have reviewed several high profile phones prior to release and I can tell you most people would be shocked at just how broken these things seem up until they get the day one patch. I’ve heard consoles are the same way. In general w...
Kfc is yummy!!!
Very atmospheric! Like what I’m seeing
Yeah yeah!!!!
Game looks great on all platforms!
Both systems should have a 60 FPS option. Ubisoft has a couple of great in house game engines that should really shine on the next generation consoles. The Dunia and Anvil engines are both very capable and shouldn’t have any issues handling a 60 FPS performance mode. I know COVID-19 has hampered development around the world but with all the resources Ubisoft has they could find the time to make the game run at 60 FPS is they really wanted to. I’m sure they could do better with pc ports as wel...
To the people saying days gone got wronged in the review process are forgetting the awful shape that game was in technically at launch. Truth is I don’t see how the game wasn’t in the 50s. It had massive frame rate issues and texture streaming issues. I enjoyed the game and it’s patched up well now but the game had issues at launch
