It's always hilarious when uneducated people try to sound smart. Totally missed so many points. Not even worth the time. Your synopsis of how I spent my money on the game and the fact that you assume I am saying I wasted my money is the most hilarious part. GG.
Made the same decision two weeks ago:

Your expectations are completely unreasonable. These people are committing fraud. The mere fact that you used the word "finagled" is acknowledgement that you know they had no ground to stand on for getting a refund.
Yeaaaaaah got mine.
Well, one thing is for sure: playing their Revan card is going to work. I bought the collector's edition and invested like 300 hours in the game back when it came out and had abandoned it long ago. Just redownloaded, resubscribed and pre-ordered the DLC. Hadn't logged in since early like January 2013.
Now... to relearn how to play. I am not great with mouse and keyboard. Prefer console. Really looking forward to getting back into this.
Because it's really not. In length of play, sure. It makes up all those games. But it's not remotely the KOTOR 3 that fans wanted. Because everything KOTOR about it is like 300 years in the past. And it's not on consoles.
So when fans are pissed and want KOTOR 3... the length of a PC-only MMO 300 years in the future is irrelevant.
35 years ago called, it wants it's "spoilers" complaint back.
The ONLY thing better about the trophy system is the reward of a platinum trophy. There is something to be said for having something to show for getting all the achievements.
It would be awesome if Xbox One had something similar to what the 360 had where it showed off all the games you have a perfect score in. That would be a nice touch.
Otherwise, gamerscore is as good as it gets. You can't compare the gold/silver/bronze system. It's not as tangible...
Meh... nevermind
I like it. I really don't understand why they aren't pushing avatars and themes more. I have to imagine they make some money off it, even the free ones that advertisers put up...
PC anyway. That's also out of people using Raptr. I am sure that number would change once consoles were factored in.
Point remains. It gets played.
I would go back to this game in a heartbeat for Revan. My favorite Star Wars character of all time.
I wish Bioware would realize how beloved he is in the gaming world and just make KOTOR3 already, even if they had to base it off the book...

Lords of the Fallen [October 31st]
It’s 5 long months until we get our hands on Bloodborne, and German developer Deck13 Interactive is saying, “Hey, we see you have some time on your hands, and we see you like games where you are always being killed, so why not get killed by our game until you have something better to do?”

Yeah... I'm sure that's exactly what they are saying...
It's funny that the article says they were told that there was no hidden content on the disc, yet people are glitching into secret areas:

This isn't remotely new. I've been going here when needing Spirit Bloom since release.
Why can't both exist? Both are equally boring. Again, says all you need to know about the game (which by the way, I find myself mindlessly enjoying).
Or people who are smart and don't have to bash square pegs into round holes to get to the same place? I know people that have played games at the absolute highest levels that did this because it was the fastest and easiest way to get materials.
That's all there is to it. Cry some more about how other people enjoyed playing a video game.
I 100% agree with the headline. If I made a game and people were finding a way to enjoy it that I didn't expect and wasn't my intention, I would embrace it. Instead, all they have done is alienated a massive chunk of their fanbase and for what? Because some level designer had an ego and said "they're doing what? Standing in place shooting into a cave for hours? F THEM THEY CAN'T DO THAT TO MY GAME?"
Maybe they should spend more time worrying about th...
I don't really see the problem with this. I can't imagine it being all that different than Cabela's. It's a typical Activision franchise game. They have a pretty heavy following and it seems like the exact game they would typically make.
I'm sure it will be as bad as their Walking Dead game, though. It's a "budget" title so 50 on next gen, 40 on last gen. Meh.
Didn't work for me. Placed an order for a PSN card and the promo code applied and I used a VISA, but still charged me full price. Canceled the order.
Have ordered from here multiple times with no issues otherwise.
