Also they (and we) deserve backwards compatibility
Have it for pc. I think everybody agrees with the wtf plot twist. The first part was very promising.
I used to have all my games physical, mostly playstation and pc, because there always was backwards compatibility. I bought the original 60gb ps3 so i could still play my ps2 and ps1 games without having to re-buy them. Now that it has purposely gone (bc) i don't have the same motivation. I still buy physical copies as some people say, it's a collector thing. Now every f***ing game demands installation so i changed my hdd on my ps4 and my collection is divided half and half. That was ...

And now we have uneducated disagrees, you are in denial or blinded by the greatness of the company; from hitman website: "In addition, the live content will start in March. This consists of our live, TIME-LIMITTED targets, weekly IOI developed Contracts and promoted content built by the very best of you out there"
I can't understand why some people defend this so much, i can only assume you don't really get what Hitman really is. About having options to wait and don't care about other people playing first is not true, some of this "downloads" and "events" for the levels are only going to be available for specific days and not after that, effectively forcing you to buy it in parts if you want to get "the full experience". Being uneducated on the topic that is.
Mobile is not going to kill consoles; this and re-re-releases will.
Yeah! Lets start charging $5 for demos!
In my eyes, an episodic game should never be called AAA. I don't care what times we are living, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, MASS HYSTERIA!
Just have to wait if the content is worth it. Episodic games have never met the standard of an AAA game. As of now we have, Paris, Italy, Morocco, Thailand, US and Japan with only the first three scheduled. "Weekly live events" on the like of "where is waldo": you found waldo, good, now find the scroll and "additional planned content" wait and see. So 6 "REAL" missions (i don't think prologue will be meaningful) against Silent Assassin's 21 miss...
Hitman has always been like that, except whatever was called the last hitman. But that's the beauty, you play a mission and can play it many times in diferent ways. Then you get bored and play next mission. Maybe you finish your run in two, three days and begin another trying to get silent assassins. After a while you return to the game and play again just for the kicks. With this, you get 1 mission... you finish it and the only option is to... play it again, ok, now i'm going to do i...
As i understood, there are going to be only a handful of missions at launch, not the same number of other hitman games and only then, they are going to release the rest little by little. Hitman is one of my favourite franchises and i don't like this way of doing bussiness. Yes, i have the option to not buy it this way and hope they release the disc. It is an experiment to let us pay in advance and the problem is if people support this, we are going to see this kind of practice more and mo...
They will not get my money on this one. I still have my ps2 games ON DISC perfectly working, and an original ps2 fat failing sometimes, but if i want to play anything from ps2 i will emulate. I prefer to waste my ps4 playing ps4 games than ps2 cash ins.
NOOOO dont let them taste the sweet and dirty extra money from DLC cut from the game... this would be the last nail in the coffin of what once was a AAA game company.
Wait... does she have a game?????????
Confirm release date and... price? I don't understand how they manage the prices in japan but i would think most new blu ray games are priced the same like here, unless it is a so oh my god masterpiece they just have to ask what is worthy, or maybe they have been making a deal with Kottick? sp? (the activision guy) to rise the prices of our games...
Now, being serious, does this mean some other game will be square's star at TGS? Versus perhaps?
Yes it was, i wont deny it was expensive but it was well worthy. I dont want to sound arrogant, but thanks to all of us that bought it at launch and phat models, sony has been able to pull out this one in this generation; why not support a machine and a brand that is not afraid of giving the chance to developers to realize their dreams, even if they seem risky. I loved many of my psone and ps2 games, and i knew of all the backslash sony was getting for the ps3, but i also knew if nobody bough...
totally agree
It will be on Smarch 13th at 13:00
It's a really tough question, while I could go with age of empires 2, KOTOR, mario bros 3, the one i have invested more hours, because i want to play it with everyone i know, is FFX. It might not be the best in the series, but it was the first truly FF i played without any kind of spoilers. For me it was addictive, it was charming, i really liked the characters and the story. It made me question some beliefs and being a writer constantly changing in my mind out of boredom the outcomes of ...
