yep the xbox you have now is just a laptop harddrive in a case , 4 screws to remove it from the case and if I want to it to a friends house it pops off with a button push and I don't have to carry it in a static bag like you do a Ps3 drive if you want to take it to a friends house
the new drive will fit , all you have to do is put in the ur current xbox HHD case . 4 screws
