If this was true than it would definetly fit my idea of what a next generation console should offer. Nintendo or any publisher produing Wii games should try to really bring this to life.
Maybe that whole cops and robbers ad showing a Gears of War release month of 11/06 and a Halo release month of 3/07 has some valididty. I dont know, everytime I hear news about Halo 3 I am shocked that bungie is that far into the development cycle. Even the game reporters who get to see the game running are shocked when they are told it is just an early build. I doubt we will totally have Halo 3 in the spring but I can hope.
I have played the "Wii" over at my pals house and I must say that in a heated tennis or baseball match you really get involved. I was more concerned with a flying remote I think than my friend was and at one point he loss control of the remote as the strap flew off his wrist forcing him to slap the controller to the ground. He said that he had a couple of close calls already. So we went out and bought a few differnt types of lanyards to try out because how this guy gets into his ga...
Now thats what I call innovation.
At first, I thought it would be funny to toss some beers back with my buddies and then go do battle on the Wii, but I can now see why this is not a good idea.
Does Sony and Microsoft design their system Kiosks? If they do, do they bother to test the sytems out to see if they are able to withstand the stress of running all day. Now if it is the retailers i.e. Bestbuy, Walmart, that are making the kiosk then thats different. But if it is Sony and Microsoft designing the systems then I say that they just dont care, because you cant tell me that they did not know that the display kiosk did not allow enough air to get to the system.
This is becoming a problem for Gamestop/EB Games. Three weeks ago or so when Marvel Ultimate Alliance released there was a shipping problem that delayed the game for a day and just like I did with the Marvel game when I found out Gears was delayed I went and got a refund for my preorder and picked it up and Bestbuy. I like the guys at my local EB games and thats why I preorder there to help make them look good, but EB games has one more chance and if a shipping problem happens with them wheth...
And I hear that there wont be a retail version for the 360 so if you do have an internet connection your SOL. In a previous article I read here it said that Bethesda wanted a retail version for the 360 but was not allowed to do it. I dont understand why that would be the case. M$ released some of the live arcade titles for offline gamers, so whats up with that?
Before this title crossed over to the 360 it was probably one of the only titles that made me venture over to the PS section of this site. Getting this game was definetly a smart move on M$'s part.
It has to be done if the Zune music service is going to move forwards as planned. They cannot use the regular old MSN music because any MP3 player that has the play for sure feature can be used with that service. I do fault M$ for not taking care of the MSN music supporters. They could have found someway of looking out for them.
The achievements system keeps me playing old games that I have gotten all the achievements for but I dont go around comparing my score to others. I am about 1000 short of having 10,000 I like the feeling of reaching this mark but if for some reason I was never able to hit it, it would not matter.
Hong Kong and Taiwan getting it early. Alright that means within a month or so these guys will have figured out how to mod a PS3.
Man I have tried to resist the hype surrounding this game but I cant. GOW deserves all of its hype.
I like the questions that are being asked with the exception of the one about a 360 browser. I just think that M$ is just too big of a target for its enemies. I hope that if a browser update was ever to come about, you would have the option of choosing if you wanted it or not.
Well we recently heard that M$ is going to give Gold members a head start on live content. I feel that this move to having content that expires is a part of this. I have heard that the new Zune that M$ is releasing will allow you to share the content that you have downloaded from the Zune service with a friend. The shared content expires after a certain amount time. So what if the expiration is something that will only affect Silver Members? That way if you go Gold you get all the perks. Sta...
Other than having a modded 360 we dont know what other reasons why MS may Brick your system. There have been a couple of things that gamers have been doing lately while are not that bad are against MS Terms of Use. You know the whole linking a foreign account to get country specific content. Lately I hear that there is a way for two 360 owners to share the same live content. Im not saying that these are "brickable" offenses but we have not accepted the possibility that there are oth...
Well every time a Starwars movie releases it has been shown that employers lose out on about $600 million dollars due to their employees skipping work to go see the movies. Do you guys think Halo is on this level yet?
Ah tell Bill over at M$ that if they give us Halo 3 now we will let them add another $20 bucks to the game to cover some of the movie cost. LOL. Why wont Pete Jackson just direct it? Fox and friends backed out because of the noobish director.
I did not like the Sonic demo that hit the marketplace last month. Just like when Sega dropped the ball on the Full Auto demo, the Sonic demo took this from a must buy to a wait and see.
The manager at my local Gamestop in an effort to assure parents and potential Wii purchasers in the know about the Wii's strap breakage potential, had been stress testing the Wii strap in front of anyone who questioned its strength. He would simply put on the strap and adjust it to his wrist and simply drop the controller downwards out of his hand and move his arm upwards to make the controller come back up where he would catch it. Well after a couple of weeks of him doing this the Wii strap...
