i agree with you 100%, In my line of work, programming is were i make bread and butter each and every day. but the thing is in my area I program for a windows base... well sometime UNIX / Linux base(gov). Most of my client uses windows. And when my client ask me is vista better for them to run severs, program and such. I laugh and say maybe two or three year from now. I know where u are coming from, i too are a computer programmer working for the gov. It's true that MS is do release some standard and little open sources code etc.. also right now i'm using Xp, Visual studio 2005 and Sql 2005 to write a new project for a client. The thing is EU ruling was the correct ruling in my opinion. the reason i say that is MS buiness practices is wrong. Why after receiving a degree in any higher post secondary schools, such as Harvard, York or even Stanford University...

you are right about fact of right now, but as we all know the PS3 ball will start to move like the PS2 did. With the Xbox 360 selling like Sh!t in japan, korea, and china, even with little Asian companies support. history will repeat it self again, cause in the second year of the PS3 life cycle. the PS3 will start sh!tting out RPG more then you can use toilet paper in one sitting. korea, japan, and China will eat this up!!! and this is why x360 won't ever over come those PS3 and Wii countries. Halo won't do a thing in Asian counties cause it's not their thing. The last strong hold of MS's xbox 360 is in North America cause Halo and Gears of war is the best there is period and with the Marketing it has in the US, it will sell like crazy cause US love FPS. Different countries love different things period.
