Dude, Spiderman isn't an expansion much less compared to gear. That got two hour or 3 hours sp at best and didn't had any impact on sales. Spider was and is a system seller. And swas top chart all year. Didn't blew out of the water? Ratchet is next Gen. Psyconaughts could run on last gen consoles. Is closer to a indie platform and is multiplat. Returnal is just amazing. You got kena. Even astrobot is cool.. The diference is just huge. Microsoft still didn't launch a big game.....
After this year not that surprising, even if you can get it almost for nothing. The real question is when they are force to stop giving it away and keep the low prices.

I don't agree with that. Nintendo isn't clashing with sony, because they keep breaking records. They are on their own path. Their sales don't affect Sony. Like you see this week. They sold 840k and Sony sold again 250k.
That it's portable that's why the oled panel.... Nintendo use to have a home console and a portable console. Now that have a hybrid portable console.

There cant be a comparison because the switch can't handle 3rd party games without a gigantic generational downgrade. Its cool for 2d games like metroid and for all Nintendo games. Outside those, not really. Nintendo stop pushing forward videogaming maybe since the GameCube tech wise.
This is why Nintendo will never change. They can do whatever they want and sell like crazy. Why will they even think in making better hardware. Next year they make a switch with better battery and sell like crazy again.
Please... The switch was outdated before launch. Everything was old. Nvidia already had better tech and they went with old and much cheaper parts. Nintendo is doing a lot of money on every switch sold from day one. No other company was able to do that.
Not really, because nothing of that change the reality. It's the last choice of gamers and by a Huge margin all year in every single market worldwide.
There are things that make sense and others that dont. The machine with fewer games, players and last on all charts on every place on the world... Isn't the best of 2021

Sony is crushing it. They just Dont have competition sales wise. This numbers just shows how big is the diference also on software.

Could be better? What the hell is this title. Funny that others keep pumping the same thing and some forget that. This is a project from a small studio. I think it's really good for their size.
This switch is portable hybrid system that doesn't have competition. Their main target isn't even the same of the ps5. Any system that can come close is a big deal, even if next week the oled gimmick will make them sell double or more
