Not really. Activision made 2 billion with Cod where 60%+ sales on Sony machines... Cut that... Now multiply that for all the games not coming out. Now multiply the budget and marketing of all those games. Not really. But that's not what Microsoft is going now. They just want gamers to get gp at any cost.
Yes, Activision was in very bad place getting billions each year just with Cod and almost zero investment on a next Gen engine. Number one game sold in the market... Save by a publisher that doesn't have a single number one on any month in how many years? Anyone knows? The last time that Microsoft was able to have a game number one in the charts worldwide....

The question isn't that, because there are more publishers. The question it's the strategy of Microsoft. One year two publishers. What will you say after EA, after take two. Because they won't stop here. Microsoft isn't using money from the gaming divisions to buy the publishers. Because never in their combined history they made 80 billions profit... It from a company with trillions.. This means they can spent 50 billion on EA, 100 on Rockstar. And it's nothing for Micros...

Activision made billions with each Cod on Playstation, it is where there are more Cod players. But Microsoft will make it exclusive and lose billions each year. Battlefield will grow and take it place. As number one seller in the world.

Well. A success where? On pc the only place with numbers it avg 31k players in comparison the old destiny 2 got 58k... On consoles we don't know nothing. Just the fact that the game wasn't number one on the charts on December. I don't even know. If any halo wasn't number on the month it was launched.... But yeah it really made the diference...
Sony didn't buy two publisher. The biggest in Europe in one year. Damn some don't even understand what this means. Microsoft didn't buy a studio, but a publisher with tons of studios.
