Ehh... Medal of Rambo?

Medal of Honour is a rip off of that Rambo poster http://www.iwatchstuff.com/... Just Cause 2 and Dark Sector are pretty similar too. I think it suits Duke better than Medal of Honour. MOH looks like it's trying too hard.

The PAL Dark Sector art reminds me of it too.

With every other turn I'm finding more and more reason to love my PS3. Me too. I've wanted this game since I first heard about it. But it just seemed as time went on info died down and people started hating on it more and more. I like Rockstar but they're just not what they used to be. It's like they had their fun surgeically removed before they ventured into next-gen. Their new games look breath taking. But they feel souless and tedious. I can barely bring myself to play GTA IV or RDR. Whereas I played their last-gen effort Bully with pleasure. There's just something about this new game engine thatt drains the fun out of any situation. Even when you're doing stuff that should be a blast it just feel...

Yeah I kind of wish Remedy had kept their baby. Alan Wake really made me crave a bona fide Remedy Max Payne 3. I just can't shake the feeling this Rockstar version is just going to be Grand Theft Auto/Red Dead Redemption all over again. I'm so damn tired of open world games. And sick to death of realism over fun. That's why I loved Bully so much. It's a little Grand Theft Auto without all the pesky realism. :D Fun fun. I'd love a sequel to that. Fun intact.

I'd like to see Alan Wake 2 with Heavy Rain level graphics (it was slightly sub-par, but still gorgeous), and Heavy Rain 2 with Alan Wake level story (it was just a tad too SAW-ish for me, if only I hadn't watched that darn movie). :D I couldn't really imagine the two completely intertwined though. It boggles the mind.

It shouldn't have bombed. It's not fair. It's a bloody Remedy game. You'd think all the Max Payne lovers would have gotten behind it. And it's an exclusive. It should have been epic. I mean it's equal or better than your average run-of-the-mill Xbox 360 exclusives. It's sad. I need a sequel stat. I hope if Microsoft doesn't give the go ahead Remedy go over to PS3. There's way too much hate for this game. It's really sad. Crap like this is what kills game developers. I thought it was wonderful. The atmosphere was great. The lighting was wonderful. The story was intriguing. The gameplay was fun. And the DLC is great. Unlike other DLC I've been compelled to buy then trudge through on principle, even though I'm bored brainless. I think it's totally deserving of GOTY. Heck it might even help boost the pitiful sales. Tisk tisk.

Yeah. Anything to spread the love for Alan Wake. Microsoft really dropped the ball when it came to advertising it. I mean it should have been a console seller. It's an epic REMEDY exclusive game. Come on people. *Face palm*. Everyone who hasn't played it should just dismiss the hype and the negativity and just play the game. It's good. And the DLC is awesome. :D I can't wait for the next episode. I'll just die if they don't make a sequel.

We totally need more female leads. There's a distinct lack of them this gen. I never get sick of looking at Lara Crofts behind. :D Except for when I'm trying to platform and I can't see anything else. lol. But yeah Mirrors Edge 2 and Heavenly Sword 2 are a must. I just hope they happen. We need more estrogen in games, less testosterone (and steroids... it's getting old). Girl power!

Agreed. :D I frigging' loved that game. It and Riddick made me actually like FPS games. It wasn't perfect, but the story had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't stop until I finished. Even my friend, who was just watching didn't want to stop. It had balls and did stuff I've never seen in other games. I was shocked and intrigued. And the gore... oh god the gore. It was beautiful. But I don't know anyone who actually played it. When I'd tell someone to check it out...

I don't think he's really saying that praise is bad. Just that too much praise can cause children to do things for praise alone. Like for example a child might not mow the lawn for their grandparents unless he's paid. It is a nice thing to do for them, but without reward the child sees no reason. Hence missing the point of doing good things. Reward is all well and good but people should have a sense of pride in themselves for accomplishing tasks without the need for external "...
