It got hate because, bioware promised to give 16 different endings and decisions in and from previous games effect the plot. This game better have dub. I'll be furious if there's no english dub. It was kinda disappointing to hear that the game is another 0.5 game. But even more disappointing to hear is no announcement of jubei being playable.
I've always thought the fact that they were selling fates into 2 games was like The Witcher 2 was to be sold in 2 separate games. Where one version would get you side with Roche, the other side with Iorveth. Not the best comparison, but each versions of fates do follow different experience and plot.
