Bayonetta did well enough although the NPD numbers do not match what Sega has been posting up. They claim it has sold over a million copies across both consoles. Probably 500,000 + & - on each. Dunno which system it sold more on however. 150K for mag is a farcry from being a success however. That's below average by todays standards for what some consider to be a highly anticipated game. Sony counts multiple accounts & some people, such as myself, have more than one PSN account. Mainly for different countries such as Japan or the UK. They are used to have access to some demos, location only exclusice content, etc. Microsoft only counts paid Xbox Live accounts & silver accounts that have a history of payments. Not accounts that are created through trials.
The Xbox 360 will have a pretty solid year & I am willing to say that it will easily outsell the PS3 in 2010. When it comes to system exclusives, the Xbox 360 has a pretty big edge in its favor. Mass Effect 2 was a good start for the platform & it was more than capable of taking on two PS3 exclusives at once. Those being MAG & White Knight Chronicles.

God of War III will not get " all platforms " GOTY for quite a few reasons. It releasing in Q1 of 2010 will make it a long forgotten game to some by the time Q3 comes around & the other big games start to hit. I'm surprised a lot of people are getting their panties in a bunch over the graphical quality of a game. At the end of the day, it's one reviewers opinion. The opinion of which we know no details of in terms of the testing environment that was used for the game. For all we know, the game could end up not looking great on a 1080P display.
